If You're Buying a Home
We'll start the process by reviewing the basics of buying a home. That review may take two minutes or two hours depending on your past experience. We'll get you prequalified for a loan, and brainstorm about the type of home you want and the lifestyle you want to lead.
During the ten years I spent as an attorney, I had an opportunity to learn a great deal about San Diego County and even South Riverside County. It's always fun when I can introduce buyers to areas they might not be familiar with!
We may look at four homes or 40 to find the right fit for you. Once we have your new home placed in escrow, I am extremely tenacious, and good at working through any issues that arise so that your deal doesn't fall apart at the last minute.
If You're Selling a Home
We'll talk about the sales process and the importance of pricing your home accurately. I'll define a comprehensive marketing plan for your home. That plan includes a lot more than putting up a sign and entering your home in the local MLS.
Your home will be aggressively promoted using professionally-prepared marketing materials, print advertising, Internet marketing and promotion to my own extensive network of personal and professional contacts. The thing that impresses my seller clients most, however, is the comprehensive communications that take place while your home is on the market. I'll check in with you at least once, but often several times, a week to provide feedback on showings and the status of the marketing activity.
I will analyze the market daily to see how your property is doing compared to comparable homes on the market. I'll also be in a position to make pricing and showing suggestions that will help you maximize your selling opportunities.
If you plan to both sell and purchase a home, we'll develop a strategy that will make sure you're in the best possible position for both transactions. The real estate market changes daily and I make it a point to get the right information to provide the best possible representation for you as my client. That also includes an aggressive program of continuing education that keeps me at the forefront of new approaches and trends.
